Scope of this Standard
This National Standard provides guidelines for the selection of fabrics for varied uses including apparel, accessories, uniforms, household purposes, art and craft and industrial purposes. It also includes information on the components of fabrics, fabric construction, sustainable fabrics and finishes.
This standard does not apply to garment construction.
