This standard specifies the requirements and test methods for scented and unscented sodium hypochlorite solutions also known as liquid chlorine bleaches. It also specifies requirements for labelling and characteristics of the containers used in the packaging of the product. This standard applies to sodium hypochlorite solutions intended primarily for use in cleaning, sanitizing and similar applications in a residential or other environment.
